Agreement to Terms

By applying for membership or using the services of Pinoy Legends Pickleball Club ("the Club," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not apply for membership or use our services.

Membership Terms

Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals 18 years of age or older. Minors may participate with written parental or guardian consent and supervision.

Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are billed monthly and must be paid in advance
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • The Club reserves the right to adjust membership fees with 30 days' notice
  • Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of membership

Membership Duration and Renewal

Memberships are valid for one month from the date of payment and automatically renew unless cancelled. Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing written notice to the Club. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Member Responsibilities

As a member of Pinoy Legends Pickleball Club, you agree to:

  • Conduct yourself in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times
  • Follow all club rules, facility regulations, and tournament guidelines
  • Respect other members, staff, coaches, and facility property
  • Provide accurate and current information in your membership application
  • Notify the Club of any changes to your contact information
  • Use club facilities and equipment responsibly and safely
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Code of Conduct

Members are expected to maintain high standards of conduct. The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward any person
  • Cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct during games or tournaments
  • Damage to club or facility property
  • Use of club resources for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Sharing membership benefits with non-members

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership at the Club's discretion.

Facility Access and Usage

Members have access to club-designated facilities according to their membership tier. Access is subject to:

  • Facility availability and operating hours
  • Advance booking requirements for certain courts and time slots
  • Compliance with facility rules and safety regulations
  • Priority access for higher-tier memberships during peak hours

Tournaments and Events

Participation in club tournaments and events is subject to:

  • Registration requirements and deadlines
  • Skill level classifications and eligibility criteria
  • Tournament rules and regulations as specified by organizers
  • Additional fees for certain premium events
  • Cancellation policies as stated in event registration

Liability and Assumption of Risk

Participation in pickleball activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. By becoming a member, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree that:

  • You participate in all activities at your own risk
  • You are responsible for your own health and fitness to participate
  • The Club is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses during activities
  • You should maintain appropriate personal insurance coverage
  • You release the Club, its officers, and staff from liability for injuries or damages

Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and materials associated with Pinoy Legends Pickleball Club are the property of the Club or its licensors. Members may not use, reproduce, or distribute club materials without written permission.

Photography and Media

The Club may photograph or record events and activities for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in club marketing materials, social media, and publications. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify club staff in writing.

Termination of Membership

The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for:

  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Breach of the Code of Conduct
  • Non-payment of membership fees
  • Behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of others
  • Providing false information in membership application

Terminated members are not entitled to refunds of membership fees.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from membership or club activities shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the member and club management. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Philippine law, with venue in Metro Manila.

Modifications to Terms

The Club reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email or club announcements. Continued membership after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be brought in the courts of Metro Manila.
